Sexuality in a Safe Environment
The project
“Sexuality in a Safe Environment” is an inter-ministerial pilot project implemented by the American Joint Distribution Committee (JDC). The project promotes gender rights and the reduction of sexual violence in five cities in Israel (Jewish and Arab alike), raising the awareness of children, youth and their families, and providing professional training and sensitization for key actors in the education system, local authorities, welfare institutions and the police.
