The Hive - Hub for Social Initiatives and Businesses in Israel
The program
The Hive, the first-of-its-kind in Israel, is an accelerator stimulating social entrepreneurship and new initiatives with high collective impact. Supported by the Foundations of the National Insurance Institute and the Joint Distribution Committee, the Hive’s main program offers a four-month training, mentorship by inspirational leaders, and financial assistance to startups to pilot their initiatives. Successful pilot projects are embedded in one of the funding partners and scaled to national level. To strengthen the wider community of social entrepreneurs in Israel the Hive organizes hackathons and bootcamps focused on specific social challenges, and offers a collaborative workspace in Lod.
