Impact Evaluation

The systematic analysis of outcomes and impacts at all levels. To this end, we apply experimental and quasi-experimental evaluation designs, theory-based and theory-driven approaches, actor-oriented approaches, outcome mapping methods and soft approaches. Data is collected according to quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

Formative Improvement Evaluation

Evaluating for the purpose of learning and improvement. Throughout the process we supply real-time information supporting decision making. We make sure that managers are aware of advancement and successes, as well as the challenges and risks. Meanwhile, we provide effective recommendations at all stages of the programme and policy cycle.

Network and Partnership Evaluation

Assessing the performance of collaborations. Programme evaluation methodologies may not be sufficient to determine whether collaboration among groups of institutions is working and making a difference. Accompanying improvement and impact evaluations, we map the dynamics and complexities of partnerships and support the creation of effective collaborations.

Process and Empowerment Evaluation

Empowering stakeholders throughout the evaluation process. Using participatory approaches in a gender-, age- and culture-sensitive manner, we ensure that Key Impact evaluations make effective contributions to decision makers, implementing partners and stakeholders. We foster change in individuals’ way of thinking, attitude and behavior as a result of the evaluation process itself.

Building Monitoring and Evaluation Capacities
